Key Account Executive

We have an immediate need for a Key Account Executive who is excited to be a part of an exciting industry and help define the future of safety and security for intelligent and autonomous machines.

* This position can be based in Chicago, Philadelphia or remote*

What you’ll do:

FORT Robotics is currently seeking a highly skilled Key Account Executive to grow our client base. We are looking for an individual who is a closer and has a proven track record of generating sales. If you have the experience and the fire, we’d like to talk to you.

  • Responsible for establishing relationships and building a client base through prospecting.
  • Developing, maintaining and growing accounts
  • Identifying, forecasting and attaining sales objectives by providing technology-based solutions to new and existing clients
  • Building client relationships over the phone and in person
  • Defining client needs through product knowledge and positioning
  • Working with our Application Engineers in the architecting of solutions
  • The ability to coordinate required resources to respond to complex technical requirements is a necessity
  • Ongoing training and manufacturer certifications
  • Preparing and presenting detailed presentations, quotes and proposals

What you need to be successful:

  • Must be energetic and focused with an unstoppable motivation to sell and strong desire to succeed.
  • 8+ years B2B technical sales experience ideally within Vehicle Electronics, Industrial Automation, Robotics and Industrial IoT space
  • OEM Technical Sales
  • Success work history showing growth in the technical sales field
  • Expertise in targeting decision makers, budget holders, and influencers
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills

  • A technical background that includes previous experience providing engineering guidance and support serving as the client liaison with Engineering and Product teams
  • Success building a campaign from a Zero Baseline

  • Effective utilization of provided resources and unbeatable customer service
  • Experience leveraging a strategic selling approach
  • Experience using Salesforce is preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in a technical field is preferred
